The Cockapoo is relatively easy to train. They enjoy engaging with and learning from their owners. Cockapoos are prone to chewing and getting into mischief, but mentally stimulating activities like interactive toys or scavenger hunts can help. 

Most Cockapoos live 14-18 years and are relatively healthy. They may be at risk for arthritis, gastrointestinal issues, and eye disorders.

The Cockapoo coat can vary depending on which parent’s breed they take after. Regardless, it is important to brush them frequently to prevent matting. They also benefit from regular grooming and trims. Additionally, the Cockapoo’s ears need to remain clean and dry, their nails should stay trimmed, and their teeth brushed regularly. 

Cockapoos are lovable and energetic, the perfect family pet. They benefit from moderate daily exercise and love interactive games like fetch.

Cockapoos can vary in size, anywhere from 10-18 inches tall and 12-34 lbs. The size of both parents plays a large role in this. Although Cocker Spaniels are most often bred with Miniature Poodles, sometimes they are crossed with Toy Poodles or Standard Poodles.
