All breeds benefit from early socialization, basic training, and learning good manners. The Siberian Husky is no exception. Consistency, patience and positive reinforcement is key. Huskies are intelligent and independent which can present both opportunities and challenges in their training.

Siberians Huskies are a relatively healthy breed, they have been selectively bred over century's for their ability to survive in harsh artic conditions, which has resulted in a healthy immune system and helps them fight off diseases and maintain overall good health.

Grooming a Siberian Husky is a balance between maintaining their captivating appearance and ensuring their overall well-being, they are remarkably self cleaning and typically only need a couple baths a year. Siberians have a double coat an undercoat, and guard hair. The undercoat is shed twice a year, and it is important to continually 'rake out' the old coat, using a pin brush and metal comb, weekly brushings help keep the coat and skin in good condition. Regular nail trims keep their paws comfortable and mobile.
